This is the second episode of the playlist "How to Break Into #UXDesign". I share with you the most basic items you need to know to get started as a UX Designer. I talk about every single aspect you need to have into consideration to succeed: Toolset, software, hardware, time investment, mindset, and lifestyle. Stay tuned for the next episode: "UX Bootcamp, UX Certificate, or UX Course? Choose the best!"
I got my CSPO certification last year. You have to renew it every 2 years. It was a few hundred bucks and I was able to complete it in 1 weekend (2 10hr days) or you can do 2hr/day for 2 weeks (i believe). I’m a design strategist so it’s necessary for me but I work with Product Owners and thats usually the foundational certification they get. It was insightful to see what their role is like and how I could better collaborate with them. Its also one of those acronyms people put at the end of their names on Linkedin if thats an incentive for you to do it (i dont do that) lol.
Great idea on the UX writing. For that budget check out Nelson Norman group courses too.
I’ve been taking some courses at IDEOU that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed!
Very interested in what writing courses you’ve seen!
