Does anyone have a morning routine they swear by? I struggle with staying in bed until the last possible moment, but I think I’d be happier if I got up and did something with my pre-work time. For those of you who are good at this, how do you do it? What are your tips?

Best advice when entering the world of SAP.

I’ve been practicing in traditional labor for about two years now (although about a decade of labor relations experience) but I’m trying to break into employee benefits law. Unfortunately I’m not being given much experience in benefits as I’m pretty typecast as a labor atty. Any advice on how I can go about getting employee benefit experience? My long term goal is to have benefits be my main area of practice.

Does anyone have any good resources for auditing ESG?

I am a new (lateral) associate at a small firm where everyone currently works from the office. When I started, I wasn’t told specific firm hours. I’ve tried to figure out when to come and go based upon when the partners arrive and leave, but their schedules are very inconsistent. The other associates don’t have helpful guidance for me. Assuming that if I ask the partners they’ll say to use my discretion, what are reasonable hours to keep?

Need Advice - I have been a copywriter since 8 years now with in-house and agency background. How can I make the transition and become a UX Writer or a Content Strategist? Is it worth doing a User Experience course from a university? What should be my next steps?

What are your client follow-up/communication policies or practices? I’m hearing more and more that clients don’t like the long periods of time with little to no contact. From my perspective, since I bill for my time, unless I have an update or need something, I don’t initiate a call. Also, clients hold on to important info and don’t initiate a call cause they’re waiting for me to communicate with them.

December is typically slow due to EOY/holidays. How to maintain momentum when losing motivation and don’t want to stall until Jan?
