Does anyone have experience in job searching while owning their own business (and planning to sell/close their business)? I've revamped my resume so that it reads as me being a high level employee of my company (it's accurate and the title is consistent with what I do) just trying to figure out if there's benefit to somewhat concealing the fact that I own it. I feel like having the ownership up front was causing employers to either treat it like a gap in employment or like I'm overqualified.
