If you don’t have mental health issues starting out in the profession you surely will after several years of practice.
This is one of the most dysfunctional professions that exists. What do you expect when you take a bunch of broken people and have them go at it 24/7? No, that’s not going to end badly, surely not.
Don’t worry about it. You are in good company.
I once worked with an attorney who was competent but likely suffered from depression (it was not disclosed, but it was assumed). They had routine appointments with a therapist. I assume they were unmedicated because of their response to me when I shared that I was treating my anxiety with medication.
The attorney did fine, but did not last long term in the position. They have moved to another firm and are doing better under that leadership and support - they've been there about 5 years whereas they were at my firm for about 2.
To the best of my knowledge, they were not treated differently on account of their presumed depression (we were all equally treated shitty).
I have plenty of colleagues with mental health issues at my firm. Partners don’t care as long as they bill and make deadlines. Colleagues care about them and are concerned but don’t judge or discriminate (we all have our own problems).

Sorry to hear that. I have OCD and while I haven’t disclosed it to anyone I work with, it’s probably pretty obvious. It hasn’t affected my job as far as I can tell.
