Due to a family situation we are looking to move to a different state. Normally we would sell our current home and buy a new home in our new location. My current title is the latter and I’m interviewing for a Principal role. The title suggests it’s more senior and would appear to be a promotion on my resume but the jd sounds similar to what I’m already doing. I’m currently and IC, Principal is also IC. The only nuance I got from the recruiter is that there is no actual designing in this role.
