Does anyone know the average difference in pay for advertising/marketing roles by city? I’d assume roles based in a city like Chicago may pay 30 percent less than NYC/SF/LA due to the cost of living.

I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

Linguistic question, should an associate say "my partner" when talking to a client about a partner? To me this comes off like implying your also a partner, but saying "our partner" sounds weird too...

My natural instinct is to assume rejection if I have conflict with a partner or don’t think my feelings are reciprocated.
