My probation was supposed to be of 6 months (i.e until June 2022), but today I received a notification in Workday that I have passed my probation.
How is this possible?
I was planning to resign within probation for 30days notice period. But now this happened. Will this change my notice period to 90days??

I usually say my colleague.
TBH I’m concerned about sounding like I’m in a relationship with my boss, so I just say my boss or use the name
[name], a partner in my group
I usually just refer to the person by their name if the client knows the partner or associate. The only time I use “my partner” or “my associate” is when I go to a hearing and introduce the legal counsel at my table to the judge. When I introduce someone to a client I usually lead with their name and let the client know their rank in the firm “John is an associate who does great work for us” or “Mary is a partner in our M and A group and has extensive experience handling deals like this one.”
I think it’s ok if in the context of work discussion, although I don’t think I ever used the word “my” along with the word “partner” as an associate. You can also just say “the partner”.
I also was used to saying "my associate" as in someone else at my company in my former line of work, but now saying "my associate" sounds like an associate who works FOR rather than WITH me. What are the appropriate possessives?
The Partner, or just Partner *insert* name
Sometimes it is helpful to have the individual’s seniority level conveyed — if the perception is it carries more weight. You could say, “I would like to introduce you to [name]. He/she is a partner in our _______ practice group. “. Or on a call or email where you have caucused with a partner but they are not actually on the line/email (assuming they are ok with you doing so), you could say “I raised your question with [name], a partner in our [firm/practice group etc] and s/he .... [then say they’re available to talk and you would like to arrange a cal or what their reaction is etc, as appropriate to the situation and assuming they are ok with the substance of whatever you’re saying about their reactions/availability to speak etc].
💯
My _______ (supervising) partner is okay. Otherwise, never. Use “the partner” or “a partner.”
