Do clients non-solicitation agreement with the firm cover ALL firm employees, or just those that fall under the department/service line that the engagement is for? Would a firm really risk losing a clients business over an employee that wants to leave the firm anyway?

How much revenue does the client generate?

Multiple entities, all together currently averaging 5-10k per month. They are already active with multiple service lines in the firm so room for continued growth especially as the companies grow, new companies are purchased, etc.

The Contract/Agreement is between the two companies, so it covers ALL employees....

Can anyone tell me what's this in Tech M

Been with my current company 5 years now. I run my own team but have a micromanaging boss who likes to create chaos for me. He also exhibits stalker like behavior by looking up my family online (addresses, emails, phone numbers, FB/Twitter accounts, you name it) and driving by my house and commenting on things I was doing during the weekend or after work. I am fed up with it and am starting to apply elsewhere. I don’t think I’ll be able to get the same total comp though. More in comments..

Will most of us (big 4 employees) be in at least the 200k+ salary range once we hit our late 40s and early 50s? I know that MOST of us won't stay with our firms, but does that mean we stagnate?

The big four conspire to pay CPAs far less than we are worth. Partners are paid millions and you’re only making $75k. You should have been starting at twice that.

We had evaluations and normally we have annual raises. I think my salary is under market value at $68k (plus OT) in Los Angeles (5 years of experience). I was told I am one of the top employees in the firm. When I asked about a raise, I was told “when you think about it at your level 5k to 10k doesn’t really matter it’s the long term goal that matters”. What would be your response to that, to a partner who is making 500-600k a year?
