I can't really imagine anyone caring unless it's a super conservative environment and the tattoos can't be covered up. I think face and neck tattoos might make more of a difference than just a few arm tattoos or something too.
I have over two dozen visible tattoos and it has never stopped me from finding a job. Thankfully, I think we are pretty much past the days when people really care about tattoos, at least in North America.
I don't have any tattoos myself, but a lot of my coworkers do. They are quite common where I live in the Southwest, but many employers still ask people to cover them when they are on the job. It really depends on the company culture. If you have the ability to cover tattoos, you may want to do so at least for an interview.
I honestly don't think that is a thing anymore. I used to think that but I don't feel like tattoos have hindered me from getting a job at all. I have tons of tattoos and nobody seems to blink when they are visible.
I suppose with tattoos being so common they get ignored in a lot of places. But I assume there are people who consider them an indicator of bad judgment and will factor that into their decisions.
I find some tattoos hard to overlook. Face and neck are there worst.
I don't think it matters that much nowadays.
It doesn't seem to bother anyone.
