Let’s say, I sell this investment. What will be my basis in the stock? My purchase price? Or purchase price plus the income I have reported over the years? I just accepted an offer in writing. The new job will start the background check next which I’ve been told it may take a while to complete. My start date at the new job isn’t until 2023 so there is some time for me to turn in my notice. I don’t anticipate any hiccups in the background check but is it wise to wait until the background check is complete before turning in my notice?

just got a full time graphic design job. is there any reason why using the work-provided adobe creative cloud account for personal use is a bad idea? like privacy or something? i’m thinking of canceling my personal subscription and saving some money.

My father took a home loan, and the same home is kept as mortgage.
I'm paying arround 22k emi for the same but unable to exempt tax as the loan is on my father's name.

I googled a lot how to transfer it but neither gift deed nor sale deed would work as the property is on mortgage that's under bank's ownership (until loan is fulfilled).
Tax is also getting deducted, I'm paying hefty emis.
What can I do?

I cheated... we aren’t supposed to do real art in the morning. We watch an art video and discuss in the morning, then in the afternoon we post an instructional video and the kids do a small project at home... I cheated yesterday. I handed out air dry clay and went to town with my 3rd grades.... the kids said it was the most fun art class ever. I will get in trouble for passing stuff out, but I needed it. So did the kids.
