I wouldn't have nearly as many issues with conservative principles if they weren't so hypocritical in how they enact them.

I'm not opposed to lowering taxes, smaller government, and respecting individual rights, but they simultaneously support bailing out big businesses, expanding church and state, and massive deficit spending to pay for dumb wars and tax loopholes for hedge fund managers.

I'd rather see our government provide food, healthcare, and shelter than any of the above things.

My wife is a family doctor, she is working insane hours, she is treating covid patients, and there is a lot of days when she has to stay at the hospital without coming home. My neighbour works in a local grocery store, so he has been at work since the Day 1 of lockdown. Lots of right wing hysteria about liberals trying to engineer equality of outcome to correct sexual/racial inequities (in higher ed, for example). I think we all want socioeconomic, gender and racial barriers to opportunities to be addressed, but no significant number of people really believe in equality of outcome right? This is just a straw man argument.
