Don't want to be the hater of this bowl, but I genuinely think this is the reason most Americans can't get around to paying their student loan debts off. I get you have to live and have some fun, but if you can't afford a $600 show, you just don't go to one. You don't get into more debt for it. Am I being harsh or do you agree with me?

Wow, that's honestly wild. 60% is a huge number too. I don't care enough for Caichella to go into debt for it but my oh my. Clearly, a lot of people do. Has anyone here been to the festival? Is it even worth all that money?

Not harsh at all, I tend to agree. Spending that kind of money when you really don't have it to spend seems nuts to me. Eating those $41 convenience fees adds up.

Some people finance stuff not because they don’t have it fyi

Also those student loans are a scam . Most of it going to fees which makes it feel impossible to crawl out of the hole.

Let the kids live a little ! The world feels like domesday on loop , let them go to the desert and find a sliver of happiness :)

For a lot of people it's a weekend of being around their friends, and the band lineup is always memorable. People want to be there and say they were there. And probably for a lot of them, that's their big splurge for the year. Breaking it up into separate payments may not mean they can't really afford it, they'd just rather spread it out. If you're living paycheck to paycheck, that can just make things easier.

Guys, I had very less HRA for April 2022 till August 2022. I was showing 1 lac annual rent .I joined new organisation in sept and now HRA is 43000 per month. Would that be okay to show high rent as 30000 per month to my wife as landlord. Earlier I was paying 9000 rs per month to different landlord. @ IBM
