If you could go back in time what would you tell yourself before taking out student loans?

Anyone have a good online calculator or way to adjust their W-4 towards the end of the year so they don’t get slammed with a high tax bill? I know I’m too late for 2020, but curious for next year...I got slapped with a 6-figure tax bill last year. 😑 My wife and I made adjustments to our 2020 W-4s, but afraid it wasn’t enough.

I joined @mindtree in Jan 2022. Suddenly there is a 10k deduction in salary in the month of April. The salary slip say 10k deduction as INCOME TAX. Mindtree says "You come under 20% slab according to the income tax calculations. When all the tax slabs are applied you will have to pay yearly tax around Rs. X amount. So that amount will be deducted in monthly basis." Why sudden income tax deduction? Why was that not deducted in the month of Jan Feb March ? How can i recover that 10k every month?

I was supportive of Lori when this virus first started but her actions since have dwindled my support of her. I don’t expect her to make every decision correct nor do we have to agree with all of them. I believe she should be correct around 75 percent of the time but I believe she is in the 50 percent range. Curious to know how much your student loans were when you graduated from your program, how much you’ve paid off so far, and your age. If you have any varying factors too, like kids, income range, etc. Just trying to see if I’m on track or slacking in life. I am 34 yo, i graduated with 95k in student loans, i currently have 85k left and i make 85k in come. I’m also a single mom with two kids. Just praying for 100% student loans forgiveness. Wishful thinking???

LCSW 50k loan repayment- Has anyone been granted a contract through the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program?
