Ladies I am single and an associate. I enjoy long walks on the beach and underwater basket weaving. If you make more than me, please date me. Pls.

like

Any of you single?! Because then we have a match! Most guys I've dated are intimidated that I make more...

like

I'd make a fine trophy husband

I don't make as much money as any of you do, I'm sure, but, I prefer to always pay my share when out with a guy. It gives me a sense of power and makes me feel like they know I'm not a gold digger. However, I would never marry a guy who didn't make 6 figures because I need to be sure that in a situation where I am out of work there will not be a financial burden and we can maintain the same lifestyle without a second income.

Would love to hear honest opinions of how my fellow females feel about dating a guy that makes less too... Same page / experience as @JPM2 here but just curious

like

That would be amazing

like

I am on board with that idea.

like

No problem with that at all.

Also, I know someone who is a trophy husband and all he does is cheat!

I (female) make more than my SO and he isn't bothered by it. We split our standard expenses evenly because we live to his budget.

Sounds like early retirement. I would not mind one bit if she made more money than I did. If anything I would be happy for her.

I see this question posted on Fishbowl all the time. Is it really still such an oddity?

^sadly, it appears so

Hi - asking a question for a friend. They recently accepted a job offer and currently going thru background check. They inflated their undergrad gpa on their resume (stupid of them i know) and are worried it’s going to get found and the offer rescinded. I told her she’s wrong for doing that but there’s no way the offer gets rescinded. Thoughts? She’s like almost 4 years post grad

I currently work at a senior level in product management, I have around 4 years of experience in the field. I'm severely underpaid and feel quite undervalued by the company. I've also been supporting my wife who's been doing her Masters for the past 2.5 years, and being in NYC my savings are absolutely minimal. My PERM is processing so I can't even make a move for another 6-8 months and I'm scared of doing so in light of thr current job market. I'm struggling to deal with my situation. Help?

Any thoughts on IESE?

I went through two rounds of interviews for
a job that the posting stated $36.66 per
hour (FP&A Analyst)…the company
recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.
Thanks for any help!

I was hired in May for my current role which I really saw myself spending at least a few years. That said, a recruiter for a competing firm reached out with a managerial role, more aligned with my skillset, and the offer ultimately ended up being a 46% increase in total pay… I’m dreading the conversation with my current boss bc he is a really great guy that I knew for years before he hired me. Any tips on how to start or go about the conversation? I was thinking a card with a personal note.
