My significant other and I are doing long distance and I feel like when I FaceTime with him, I emote more and show interest by asking more questions but from his end, he doesn’t always have a reaction or just nods, and it makes me feel like he’s uninterested. What can you recommend as global Roaming/Wifi option? What option is good value (stable in most countries) for money. My partner works on a cruise and we do not want to depend on Cruise Wifi but rather have a faster backup option to connect him in ports (different countries each time).

I can see short term changes but the way Amex has been aggressively marketing Platinum card, we just will have overcrowding of primary card holders 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m trying to decide on a hotel in the Maldives - currently choosing between the W Maldives and the Park Hyatt Maldives.

Does anyone have a perspective based on experience?

We’re planning to be in Kauai for a week in mid-December, but I’m thinking of extending the trip an extra 10 days. Would we have enough to do with a 4yo in tow? Or maybe not worth it to stay that long? Staying at the Grand Hyatt first week, then downgrade to Sheraton Coconut Beach.
