Personally, I like to join whiskey groups (e.g., facebook or reddit) and read reviews, stories, etc. so I can identify a few new bottles that I want to try before going to the store.

You could start with a bottle that you like and then branch out into a variation of that profile...

Like wheated bourbons? maybe try one that is a little older or higher proof. Like ryes? Maybe try one that is double oaked or finished in port barrels.

Ask if they have any store picks and or open bottles for you to sample. Usually the have both, and you get to try something new. Don’t be afraid to ask for guidance, most stores employees have atleast 1 or 2 people who are super knowledgeable about a specific alcohol.

Another tip, watch some youtube videos of people sampling bottles; think about the flavors you like and then use their feedback as a baseline of what to try next

I have the following 2 offers..

Cognizant- 21L fixed and 1.5L variable
PWC - 22L fixed

This is for a guidewire role.
Which is a better offer? What would be a good option for growth wrt role, salary etc.
Also, PWC claims to offer variable based on their fixed CTC based on the ratings.. is this true ? How much is the avg percentage given?

After 9 months, I finally found my first BTAC while out and about. Looking forward to cracking it open after dry January!
