FAANG fish - just got an interview from Facebook for a project management role. I've been looking for a change but not sure if PM is the route I want to go. Is this a respectable, well paying position

Tried applying a couple of times to ServiceNow, totally matching required skills, but never get a call back, I'm curious to know how to get shortlisted

Quick question.
I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)
- Work with the recruiter + apply for jobs on my own?

I’ve been seeing a lot of product roles lately and I’m just wondering if this was a good path to pursue (In terms of career growth, salary, etc.) I’ve working as a data analyst and am thinking of trying something else but I’m not sure what types of roles are really out there.

I have been on bench since I joined the firm 3 months ago. Now I have got project but still on bench. I have got mail regarding not raising snapshots because I was on bench so i didn't do anything except trainings and some learning. I don't have hours to raise snapshot for.

What shall I do in this case? I am very much worried that if i don't have any project hours to show, will they fire me or what actions are supposed to be taken ? Thanks.

I was selected for a l3 role via IJP in the 1st week of may and the hiring manager informed me via email that i had been selected for the role and requested confirmation to proceed with offer letter generation. I didn't hear anything from HM after that. When can I expect to receive an internal offer letter? Should I contact HM to know about the status ? Please provide some insights. TIA :)

I have heard that most legacy systems specifically mainframes are being replaced and new technologies taking over for similar purpose.
How about employee like us who just started in this mainframe tech . Where will we end up if you stay in this.
Many of onsite leads tells that move of it as they are migrating larger part of it to new platforms but BU heads says it is going to stay for a long long time don't get panicked.

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

Ex-consultant now in marketing. Used to be an avid follower here and got great insights on companies when trying to exit consulting so thought I’d try here for advice. Outside of FAANG, what are good large CA-based tech companies that provide good pay, WLB, and culture? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good? A company along those lines.

What are the chances of Amazon (or FAANG in general) allowing you to apply/interview again for a position that you did not get in the past?

Why do people who left consulting never come back?

I have the opportunity to exit to a Product Manager role at a PE-backed software company (noname co w ~$5-10B rev). Pay is at $150k base. Seems like an interesting industry. However, I kind of just stumbled on this and am apprehensive about leaving BCG after just a year out of undergrad. I’m also unsure how stock grants play out when working for a portco. Does anyone have advice for how to think about my next move?
