Eat lots of fresh produce, focus on vitamin C. Get adequate sleep. Sleep is critical for a solid immune system, as is good nutrition.

Your body can't create a reserve of Vitamin C, it's a water-soluble vitamin and gets excreted through daily waste. Yes, it's important to get enough C through your diet, but there's no point to the megadose over-the-counter C supplements when your body can't use all of it.

Supplements don't fight against viruses. Germ hygiene and keeping germs at bay will have better results.

I didn't say supplements are useless. I just said they don't necessarily fight against germs/viruses . I 100% believe supplements to be great for other health benefits, just not fighting against catching a bug. 😘

What's your exercise look like?

Exercise helps move blood cells (specifically white blood cells) around, which helps your immune system patrol more.

Exercise and sustained faster breathing also helps move bacteria out of your lungs and airways.

Obviously you can still get sick, but exercise is a huge boost to the immune system.

Separate recommendation - air purifiers. We have air doctors (unnecessarily expensive, here’s a link for cheaper and equally effective ones) in each bedroom and our main living area and we do see a difference.

Also, if your kids are in school, give them some wet wipes! The kids can't always get to a sink to wash their hands when they sneeze or get dirty, and they're around other kids who sneeze and get dirty.
