I’m taking the SPHR in less than 2 months and haven’t started studying for it. How difficult is it? I’ve been in HR for 20 years and have experienced ALOT in that time, although there are always employee relations scenarios that surprise me! How much do I really need to study for this? I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do it, I’m so mentally burnt out at the end of the day from a high stress HR job, the last thing I feel like doing is studying HR!
Has anyone found value in the “Josh Bersin Academy” membership? They are offering 20% off an annual subscription so my interest is piqued.
Guilty! Being the interviewee recently has taught me what I failed to do as an interviewer. 1Outline your hiring process/timeline. Simple but oft overlooked. Tell them how many people they’ll be meeting, when u aim to shortlist, when u aim to hire. Communicate- someone is probably intensely waiting for any word. They may miss other opportunities for u. 2 Closure! Surprising how many places don’t let u know when they’ve moved on from u! 3 Can u offer helpful advice for them? 4 Reply to all.

Confession - I don't want to go back to office. I'm happy working from home and find no solid reason in stepping back. I hope the flexi work culture allows permanent WFH - I don't have a "good enough" reason, but I don't want to go (isn't this good enough?) It's been 1.5 years now, too comfortable to step out from my PJs to jeans.
Best feeling in the world?? To be able to leave office for 'home' at sharp 5 pm and not go back to the hotel room - Ex PwC employee

Hi Guys, I need some help. I had joined kpmg global services recently (7 months) back from one of the IT services companies in an advisory role however now I have received an offer from HCL with 40% hike to my current CTC. What should I do. I have heard that KGS gives decent hikes and bonus payouts however the work is completely backend with limited customer interaction and limited good quality.
