I came on vacation and stayed on probation

We moved here to get away from snow. I love the location and the weather.
Came here on vacation and we decided to move to get away from the rain and try something new. Loving the sunshine
From my perspective, it's a really mellow city. But it also has stuff to do. It's relaxing in the sense that it has a west coast/mountain state atmosphere, which is unusual for me as a Midwesterner. It does, however, have a lot of activity, and you can choose from in so many different sections of the city to find a spot that suits your needs.
Phoenix's grid system is fantastic. It is really easy to learn your way around. A car accident on the highway? No problem, simply exit and go on surface streets.
Spring is lovely. Summer evenings are pleasant when the sun has set. The streets are grid-organized, making it difficult to get lost. Mexican cuisine is wonderful. The roads are normally in decent condition. If the Valley becomes too hot, you could go on a road trip to Northern Arizona.
I don't have to shovel the heat and freeze to death when I want to take a walk outside during winter :)
Also PHX is a larger community than where I had originally moved from. From my experience, I saw more to do, more opportunities, just more to offer in life.

I didn’t have a choice 😂 but I’m digging it!

No matter where you go, everything is within a 20-minute drive. The airport is located in the heart of the city, not in a remote section of the metro area.
The view is perhaps my favorite part. I know it's easy to focus on the urban hellscape, but going through the city and seeing the mountains and desert environment is quite breathtaking.
I first visited for a work trip over 6 years ago in February (from Indiana originally) and loved it! Finally moved here this year. I love the weather, all the sunshine and dry heat, the views, how much there is to do and how easy it is to road trip to cool places - I could go on! 😎🌴🌵🏜
I came here for a job so I got paid more money to be here, so money I would say.
Used to live in LA and the weather here is comparable but it's so much easier to get around and enjoy the outdoors

My parents are here and aging and there was a great job opportunity
When Covid hit, I lost all my part time jobs in Fresno. I was recruited to teach here so I stayed. I hate the summers but love the winters!
