Both are fine. I prefer Schwab, but I have more experience with them. If you have other assets with either, I’d suggest starting with a single firm.

I have both. I find fidelity extremely easy to use and great customer service
About the same. May depend somewhat on what in what you plan to invest and how much help in investing you desire. Schwab probably offers more recommendations. That is not the Fidelity model. They will give you data and options, but not really recommend. Since you may have to physically go in on occassion, also consider location. Personally, I have more assets at Fidelity. I like their family of funds.
D1. Nothing related to my retirement fund. But have used the medallion stamp and notary service, did choose to attend some seminars ( although most of those are now virtual or offsite) , and met with one of their estate planning specialist in person. Had to go into Schwab in person when my daughter turn 18 to transfer her custodial account. Just one data point to consider if there is nothing else to tip the scale.
