For PwC fishes who left recently, how did you consolidate wealth builder into 401k within benefits express to avoid the 20% federal tax withholding that was described in the benefits package? I tried to do this online but it didn’t show as an option except to rollover to an existing IRA or take a final distribution. Do I need to call benefits express?

Paying your debts doesn’t feel right? Lol
And before I get attacked. I had a lot of student loans that I have fully paid off.
Those were flat out cases of fraud to get people in the door. They deliberately falsified job placement rates and other information as well as lying about accreditation and transferral of credits to other colleges.
Plus, some people never had the opportunity to finish their entire last year before they closed, have no degree, and the credits don't count anywhere else.
Unfortunately, bankruptcy laws protect the schools but not the students. You can't discharge student loans through bankruptcy, so they're forgiving the debt. "Someone else pays for it" isn't really the stance you should take in cases of criminal misconduct.

I’m sorry that people will start asking you to pay back money you borrowed from them and agreed to pay back. 🙄. What doesn’t “feel right” is people expecting others who have already been responsible in repaying debts (or who didn’t go to college to begin with) to shoulder the cost of other peoples’ borrowing.

D1 all of the elite schools offer very generous need based financial aid. Unless you come from a wealthy family or you didn't actually go to that elite of a school, your student loans should be minimal
Fingers crossed Biden pushes it back again baby 🤞
Trump was the one who started it, no?
I'm amazed at how people who make far more money than the average American (and can fully expect to make double what they make today every 3-4 years) cry about paying back a few hundred dollars in debt per month.
SC2- it’s painful to watch interest eat up so much of hard earned payments!! I’m not a big Dave Ramsey fan- but his theory of throwing any extra cash at your loans from smallest to largest (or by interest rate) will help chip away at the principal to interest ratio of your payments. The end is possible!
Any chance you can throw a chunk of money at your debt now ahead of May? Interest freeze has been the perfect time to get serious about principal payments so your hard work isn’t eaten up by interest growth.
