I only apply for a job that fits my qualifications and my interest. If it pays pretty good salary and compensation benefits, then that's a bonus. I always go for a position I will enjoy. I don't want to drag myself everyday doing a routine that's killing me every time. I can work my way up for bigger rate.
I enjoy my job. Although, not gonna lie, it's also tiresome. I also daydream of changing career sometimes, but my bills motivate me to stay here. lol

I enjoy the role, but honestly the money doesn't hurt 🤭
Do you enjoy the role?

Oh for sure. But the one thing I know is the minute my mind checks out I have to start looking for something else. Until then, I enjoy both.
If I don't enjoy my role, I tend to be miserable and that makes it not worth the money.
I am lucky that I have always enjoyed what I do. I did not necessarily enjoy the company. I always align my long-term goals with my availability to take on different projects. If I feel a project won't make me grow professionally, I try to professionally reject "the growing opportunity." At the end of the day, I would be doing tedious work, not the ones who assigned it.
I used to enjoy working in this field but after a recent turn of events I can't help but to feel like I'm only staying for the money as well. I hope things start to turn up in the near future or I might find myself switching careers.
I mean, aren't we all? For me, I just have to do this so I can become stable enough to afford working for a job that feels right for me. I hope it does happen someday soon.
YYYYEEEESSSS! Sadly I love product management, but I've hit my limit with brotech. It didn't used to be like this 😥.

Do you like your job at all? I can understand when it gets annoying but that’s the nature of work. I don’t think anyone should expect work to not suck sometimes. But, you shouldn’t be unable to get out of bed to go to work.
I wouldn’t mind doing something more creative like writing or creating art. But figure I can do that on the side since I can’t make money off it, it’s just something I enjoy.
