Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. Depends on the type of equity. If you are still new to the company, it’s better to keep it for a while, looks bad, and honestly, most companies restrict sales until IPO in your agreement. It is basically a lottery ticket, so I understand wanting to cash in asap, but check your policies first and what you are allowed to do.
Thanks!
You should probably read up on equity, the terms of your equity and what if any buy in requirements you have or don't have. Because even trying to interpret this in the best of ways leave much to be desired.
Thanks for advice
