I just got an email from a recruiter from Google!

He said that the position is in the Bay Area or New York. I haven’t replied the email. I don’t think we can move to those cities, but I don’t want to lose this opportunity. Does anyone know if Google does remote jobs within US?

And let them see how much I eat every day? No thanks
I do that everyday with my assigned NSA agent. I just can’t see them.
I tried doing it for 1-2 hours a day. Helps me a bit
I did the “virtually working together” thing with one of my co-workers who’s also my best friend, but that was towards the beginning of COVID when we were all still trying to get used to WFH. Fast forward 2 years later, all I want to do now is work out of bed and never have to turn on my camera. 🙈🙈🙈

I caved and started going to the office
I find having a designated office space alone is helpful- I know it's hard to do if you don't have enough space, but I can't work with any sound and I have a proper desk, 2 screens, and an office chair. Makes it feel official, whereas when I worked from the cough or bed, I'd lose focus a lot...

I do this at least 3 times a week with a teammate. I get a lot more work done when I think someone’s able to catch me slacking…
