When considering a formal overcoat in navy blue, it may be beneficial to consider styles that have a timeless aesthetic. One such style is the double-breasted overcoat, which is known for its elegant appearance and versatility when worn over formal attire. Brands such as Brooks Brothers, Hickey Freeman, and Samuelsohn are known for producing high-quality double-breasted overcoats. Another option is the single-breasted overcoat, which is a classic style that can be paired with formal attire. Brands such as Ermenegildo Zegna, Canali and Tom Ford are recognized for their elegant single-breasted overcoats. Both styles are versatile and can be worn for formal events and occasions.
If you already have the staple colors for an overcoat, I suggest you go for camel or coffee shades. It's a bit difficult to pair it, but when you do, you'll definitely be a head-turner.
Navy or grey are always smart for business. I love Canali but it can be expensive.
Navy blue is a great color for a formal overcoat, a double-breasted style adds elegance and a pea coat is a shorter, more casual style. Brands like Burberry, Aquascutum, and Ralph Lauren are known for their classic and stylish overcoats. You can also check out other brands like Topman, J.Crew, and AllSaints for unique and trendy options.
Awesome. Let me check them out. My last one was boss and it has been 15 years and still strong, but black. Always fancied navy blue, Daniel Craig wears some awesome ones, wonder where those are from.
https://www.reiss.com/us/en/style/st229732/C34974 that’s awesome, but don’t know if I can wear it with a suit to non parties
Ted Baker has some amazing ones for Navy, so definitely recommend that. Burberry is definitely great but tends to skew a little boring IMO. I like the Reiss one...you might also want to check out Hugo Boss

That is gooood?
Oh definitely! A navy blue overcoat is a closet staple. They are sometimes even more versatile than black ones. A double-breasted style would look great in navy blue.
A grey overcoat is also one of the most versatile colors there is. It looks good with almost everything you pair it with.
You should check this one out, Anderson & Sheppard Donegal Wool-Tweed Coat. I've been eyeing this for some time. I just can't get my hands on it.
Wow that is awesome, so expensive though!
I really recommend a grey overcoat. Try any of these two: Wax London Kray Coat Black / Charcoal and the Brunello Cucinelli Double-Breasted Virgin Wool-Twill Coat.
