Got a call from Rolex AD and they say they can hold it for me only till this weekend. Is that common/reasonable ? My request was for them to hold it for a week as the AD is not in the same city. First time buyer with this AD.

Currently a Wealth Advisor for Citi but I honestly hate it here with a passion it’s the worst company I’ve ever worked for in my life and I’ve been in Wealth Management in the banking channel for over a decade. 30th birthday present watch accessory ideas.

A lot of knowledge on here so asking for some help. It’s my partner’s birthday and I’ve no idea what to buy him. He’s a watch fanatic - Pateks (sports and dress), Audemars (sports and dress), Rolex (sports), Omega (sports).

I’m obviously not buying him a watch for his birthday (in his dreams!) but any idea for some good accessories? He’s already got a PP watch winder, and has bought multiple nice straps for the dress watches. I’m completely lost.

Why would a luxury watch brand make/sell connected or smart watches? What is the business reason for it? To me it just kills the brand value. For instance I was a big fan of Montblanc but after I see their smart watch line up I instantly devalued the brand in general. Same for Tag (tag is questionable anyways), or Breitling. What is your opinion on this topic?
