Got to my meeting and was asked if I was "just here to take notes" in a meeting I was actually leading. Women are still seen as admin far too often. What subtle stereotypes have you come across that you had to push back against? Or didn't push back!

Excuse me? Who on Earth would ask that? The people in your company need to get out more because it sounds like their mindsets are prehistoric. Fortunately, this isn't something I have to deal with, but I wouldn't push back. People like that embarrass themselves all on their own.

I know—prehistoric is the word. The fact that people still default to assuming women are there to “take notes” shows how little progress has really been made in some places.

People joining TCS at Senior Consultant designation with 12 years exp, with no MBA degree or even from with exceptional experience in niche technologies is truth these days.

Existing employees with 20 years exp working on presales consulting, winning millions of dollars of projects in RFPs, delivering multi million dollar assignments are still not getting promoted and paid in peanuts

Makes me wonder if companies are really enjoying so called great resignation period. What's the thought ?
