I did 3 days in Prague and 5 in Budapest last year. Felt like the perfect combination. Prague overrun with tourists and 3 days was enough. Budapest was more livable and is also geographically bigger
You could do all. Prague and Budapest are relatively “small” and can be covered in a short amount of time and on foot. I wasn’t a fan of Vienna, but up to you on that one. Leaves you plenty of time to split Greece equally. I’d do 2-3 days each. People love Prague so you can do 3 days Prague and see all the key spots.
Greece if you want to relax, though weather in the islands will be too cold for swimming / sunning (great
For lazing around and lovely scenery). Prague, etc if you want a city trip. No more than 2 nights in Athens if you go that route... so I’d do Athens, 4 nights Santorini, 3 nights Mykonos (and assuming a travel day). Could also do 3 nights Santorini and add in another island (Ios?). Crete is pleasant, and could do that, Santorini and Athens, too... for the other trip - 3 nights Prague (it’s nice - but don’t get why everyone is obsessed?) 3 Vienna, and 4 Budapest. Personally, I’d do that trip first.
What type of vacation are you hoping to have?
Literally everyone I’ve ever talked to that has been to Prague rants and raves about how amazing it is. I’d vote that or Greece, depends what you want in your vacation.
Multiple cities? Feel like Prague is good for 3 days. Assuming that Budapest and Vienna can be done in a similar fashion based on my research (both are next on my list).
Well, how do you define “Greece”? City trip to Athens? Greek islands in the Adriatic, Greek islands in the Ionic, Crete? I would do city tripping and the three cities are amazing but if you want to have time on the beach, you may still get lucky in Crete or Rhodes in October...
We need more info OP. Those are very different trips.
