Greetings Fellow Fishies!
I'm new to Fishbowl and I live and breath pricing.
So I thought I'd start a place where fellow pricing professionals can share questions, best practices or commentary on pricing.
I'll start us off with a question.
How often do you adjust your pricing?

So I’ve been studying for the AWS cloud practitioner certification for a month now and completed all cloud quest levels but still not feeling 100% confident. Has anyone tried the exam question dumps ? There are so many websites but not sure which one is the most reliable one as all of them you would have to purchase such as pass-guaranteed, certwizard, etc.. any recommendations is greatly appreciated

Hi HR Professionals! I am revising our current employment application form. Per SHRM, I was just curious if any HR Professionals completely removed the following fields: social security number, recommend salary, graduation dates, military discharge info, race, maiden name like (Ms. Mrs. Ms), & criminal history questions. I was just curious what other Employers/HR Professional have done. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Recommendations on an exceptional career coach who can help my husband? He works with his brother at a startup his brother founded (my husband is in-house counsel) but often finds himself belittled by his brother, cut out of conference calls and emails and generally feeling like he has no skills. He's an ivy league graduate and went to a great law school but for many reasons cannot leave this job right now. Looking for someone to help w/his confidence level and ways to approach his brother. TIA!

Calendar question re excel:

Does anyone know if there's a way to exclude holidays when calculating a date in excel? Or to exclude a range of dates where I could insert a chart for holidays to exclude? I tried the WORKDAYS function, which works great, except it excludes werkends and holidays. I'm looking for a way to exclude holidays only.

Additional Posts in Pricing

Choose a pricing metric that:
1) Aligns with the value that your product delivers, which makes the mental ROI calculation for your customer easier.
2) Grows as the value that your product deliver does, which makes your customers pay more as they get more value.
3) Is easy to understand.
The last one is particularly important because it's really easy to make something hard, but it's really hard to make something easy.

B2B software pricing should be based on value.
You should know the value you are providing - at a minimum, qualitatively. But try to put a number on it.
Then figure out what percentage of that value buyers are willing to pay you to deliver that value. It should be in the 10-20% range, but it could be higher.
The only way to know is to ask what their willingness to pay is.
