What’s your process like when coming up with scripts? So far in my career I’ve done mostly non-traditional work and always freak out a bit when I’m put on briefs that involve videos because of my lack of experience. Do you focus on the idea first, write it up and then figure out all the details in script form? Do you jump straight to scripts and finesse as you go? What works for you?

I currently work as an APM at a FAANG company but recently received an offer to join an MBB. I’m very excited about the role but didn’t realize I’d need to take a pay cut when I applied (~100k base + ~20k bonus + ~60k equity vs. 90k base + 10-20k bonus). Considering that I currently work 40-60 hours/week, I’ll be making significantly less per hour at the MBB. I’m very interested in the opportunity but also don’t want to make a poor financial decision early in my career. Thank you for your time!

But he constantly complained, even telling me that if I was more experienced, the workstream would have gone better. I expect 1. strong vision and planning and 2. A leader’s mentality from my managers. Is this asking too much?
