Any news from anyone, especially during covid?
I have been fighting against a lifelong workaholic streak I’ve had. If you’ve ever struggled to relax during free time or feel best when you are putting my fires out, you may be shocked to learn that your brain may actually have developed a physical addiction to the adrenaline of being forced to perform. My therapist mentioned this might happen and I certainly have felt it. You can make it through the withdrawals! This is a great piece on it :

If all else fails, try goodrx (https://m.goodrx.com/vyvanse), and if that's still too expensive on your budget, talk with your doctor about alternative ADHD meds that are covered by your insurance, where you can experiment with few alternatives that will be covered by your plan. Of course be proactive but I'm hoping it's smooth sailing for you. I'm 24 on Adderall so I'll also pass through similar waters at some point in the near future.
I had a brief period where I was uninsured for like 6 months and my doctor actually told me to use this website if I couldn’t afford my prescription straight up. Good resource
You should call the exact insurance company to verify. If not, I would suggest staying on your parents' insurance plan also until you are too old to this way you will know for sure that the Vyvanse will be covered for the next few years. You can have two insurance plans at the same time.
How much do you pay for Vyvanse monthly ?
Yeah Vyvanse is expensive 🫠🫠🫠 but he’ll it works for me so it’s a price I’m willing to pay. Hoping a generic shows up soon
Usually, your HR department should be able to direct you to the correct answer or at least who you should talk with. Try scheduling a call with your HR department as soon as possible.
All good feedback here. Additionally, speak to your doctor and ask for a different medication with similar effects. You may need to take a non XR or more than once a say, but you’ll be able to afford it and take it consistently. I’ve been able to switch mine successfully.
