McKinsey & Company Had a final round at McKinsey & Company on Friday. Overall solid case performances on all 3 interviews (no math errors, good structure, and good insights). 2/3 interviews I feel I did extremely well on the PEI, but with the senior partner I feel I didn’t do a good job. I didn’t really directly answer the question and eventually had to change my story. Was a bit sloppy in my opinion. Anybody have an opinion on odds I get an offer? First round feedback was essentially all positive, especially PEI
Absolutely no one knows.
Asking for opinions. Maybe for example from someone who was in a similar situation and then got an offer or then didn’t get an offer. Historical data or even hearsay is much better than thinking inside my own head lol
As far as I heard couple of years ago you must have at least a 9/10 in every single interview, otherwise they‘ll find someone else who does that.
This was in Europe though and in a time where companies were less aggressively hiring. Good luck OP!

Question for anyone reading this, do you think it’s worth writing thank you emails? I felt like I did a good job of building a relationship with the interviews outside of the classic interview questions. I feel like the thank you email is dead, but would love any insights!
It makes you look desperate and personally it’s annoying for me to have to respond to another useless email
