I'm looking at a company that's beginning to build its HR function in the U.S. (they already have overseas teams). Are consultants only seemingly more capable (at times) because we dedicate all our client-facing time on a single project vs. juggling multiple projects? All my client's leadership teams seem like a mess but I think it's just due to their lack of opportunity to focus on anything for long enough to know what's going on. Deloitte fish: I’m an alum trying to do some retirement planning. I was an SM2 vested in the pension plan (I worked in DTTL for 7 years ending 2013) and want to find out what my actual benefits will be and at what age. I’m so depressed, have been for years, and don’t see it getting better. I’ve tried everything from therapy, exercise, psychiatry, journaling, self help books, healthy diet, etc. what else is there?

A week or so ago, someone shared a stacked bar chart of each MBB/Big 4 firm that highlighted the percentage of consultants that say they work 40, 50, 60 hours etc a week at each firm. I have searched endlessly to find that chart but haven’t had any luck. Not even on google. Does anyone know the chart I’m referring to?

There is very little that makes me cringe as much as hearing the word “networking”. Why do we still label events with this word? I would be much more likely to show up to virtual happy hours or virtual game nights than a virtual networking event.
