42.069% chances of getting an offer

Depends on the "weight" of each of the three interviewers.
Please estimate the weighted average result of your three interviews.
Post the answer and back it up. Thanks. 😉
Yeah, my guy, each interviewer carries 100% weight (also known as veto power).
Good example of how not to setup an equation in a case interview.
You’re not going to get a definitive answer from anyone here, even McK folks. You’ll know soon enough. Just relax, hope for the best, and don’t get too anxious. Pass or fail it doesn’t define you. Good luck!
Honestly i needed to hear that, thank u 🙂↕️
You still have a chance if the rest of the case was exceptional(framework, insights)..
Why is a final round giving you math?
It depends how blatant the errors are. If you’re dividing where you’re forced to find decimals or fractions you’re fine. If you’re struggling to add basic numbers or multiply I would imagine the odds of you being cut just skyrocketed
Depends - What type of consulting / which practice was the interview for, and what types of case studies were they / what type of math
Tbh, very unlikely
Final round is the hiring partner and it's really a matter of how much they liked you in general
Oh okay, i think i also had an interview with them as well - would they be under the talent segment?
Yes you can screwup and still pass, but it depends on whether the screwup is (in)consistent with rest. Source: me.
I doomed one case because I’m not familiar with that random industry. But the offer required high aces in all other cases where interviewers clearly indicate their cases were done on the top level
Which role?
You will generally hear the same day from us (or very soon after) so at least you'll get your answer quickly
Anecdotally, there are plenty of people who have flawless math and not get an offer, plenty of people who will make a math error and get an offer, and everything in between
Can you describe more bout what was a “lot” of math help?
Are you talking advanced statistics or calculus? Understandable.
Doing things like financial computations, allocations, and forecasting are an important part of the job. If you don’t get it this time, brush up on these skills for the next job if consulting is hat you want to do.
Did you get it OP?
