Had BCG Consultant Decision Round interviews yesterday w/MDP and Principal. Very natural Fit convo and good rapport with both. Apart from really minor definition clarification I asked at beginning of math portion, cases went very smoothly, was pretty much 1 step ahead throughout and got to the right solutions. MDP responded warmly last night to my thank you note and signed off “hope to see you in our office soon.” No call Friday night - what are my chances?

Been working on mostly (about 70%) public sector policy and strategy at Big 4 for most of my career. Often go up against MBB on RFPs and have a decent win rate. Would I be too senior to come in as a lateral hire? I guess it’s all about client networks at this level, and being government, it’s locationally dependent - so which markets have need?
