You should ask for more clarity on that feedback. For that exact reason, if you haven’t missed any deadlines that could just be some corporate bs speak. By asking for specific examples it’ll also help you hone in on those areas moving forward. Just remember to try not to take it personally. It’s hard as an ADHDer I know lol!
I’ve had this in tech sales.
My consistency feedback was (from a relatively toxic-positivity community) on my facial expressions, tone, ability to not interrupt and/or stay on topic in a conversation. My ADHD-anxiety can manifest as chattiness, and/or insecurity where I want positive feedback.
my confidence was not consistent internally; while I was able to fake it for clients, always. My bosses would tell me that when I’m “on fire” I’m unstoppable and leadership material, but any cracks in that veneer were not ok. I had to fake it all the time, and it was unsustainable.
Particularly in pandemic life, with a special needs toddler, a pregnancy, and other family challenges.
My entire life. I have never missed deadlines but its more making silly mistakes. I never make the same mistake twice but I will often have small errors in my work. I think that is what leads my boss to think that I am not consistent in my work.
