There's just like a widespread trend in ghosting people it seems. It's like recruiters just reach out to everybody and their cousin and then they vanish. I don't get it. Maybe they have to hit some quota of contacts or something. And once they bother you they never follow through.
"H2B'S May fix the shortage of good Jobs " I have been sending resumes out for.over 1 Month and nothing happens other than Low Baller's offering ridiculous salaries.
Who knows maybe the IT jobs will be absorbed by AI?
Not absorbed but definitely augmented to the point where all you need is one senior who can command a fleet of Claude and Chatgpt agents at a cost of 30$/month
TRUE amd DECEMBER AND JANUARY is always BAD TIME to be without a JOB.... FEBRUARY/MARCH all will go back to NORMAL
Had 2 recruiters from Amazing companies reach out. They both told me they’ll bring me to the next round and have not heard back
That happened to someone that I knew they applied they had the hiring manager reach out to them to set up a interview and they scheduled it for the day and then when the day came the hiring manager did not respond didn’t get on the call and the person that I know Called them and didn’t answer the phone either and it was just kind of like what just happened
I've also been applying to several jobs nobody is hiring they say they are but they're not.
File complaints with companies or name them on social media where you’re allowed (like company review sites, interview experience etc.). Enough complaints get logged and mgmt do see these and HR reps or TA gets into trouble enough to be replaced for better ones. And things eventually get better. I am saying this because I’ve experienced something like this and I filed complaints (anonymously) and I wrote some reviews on the company interview websites. This year recruiters are on the edge to be on the best behaviors in some companies and recruitment agencies even. So do your parts and everyone does their parts things eventually change. These people in talent acquisition aren’t doing their job that’s why they’re like this.
Been basically outta work since September. Can't work here without a license. Which mine is suspended. I had to beg my ex wife for help. Which she thankfully is going to help with.
These companies just want to show their recruitment process to MoM so that they can get the credit points and can higher from outside Singapore and/or interdepartment. I know one specific company last 7 years they conducted interview but never taken from outside experienced person, every time it was interdepartment. Really funny

I often wonder if its a personal details gathering exercise. We send private details un good faith to people we have never met.. only to never get a reply !
Yeah sorry that happens- why even ask to setup interview right?! Keep going
