Hey, I received a verbal offer from EY for a role as manager, which was quite a low ball offer. I had received another offer from a different firm and I informed EY HR about it. I was told yesterday that they have an updated offer for me, scheduled the call twice with me but didn't actually call and told me she got occupied in other meetings. I have not got a response from her yet on the mails, should I contact the hiring partner directly? other firm is asking me to update as well.

Is it ok to work for 5.5L annual package with 3 years of ITSM experience.

My wife recently put in her two weeks and half the people she worked with are just ignoring her messages. They asked to work longer but bc of her new company she cant. Shes moving for about 60% more pay from external audit to senior accounting. Shes extremely sad and im confused why these firms are so uptight about this. Mumbai people should be paid extra. There is no way we can live close to office and also we have to commute very long distance in local if we want a okay type house in a good society. Our friends from other locations do not have this challenge so i think Deloitte should pay atleast 20% hardship allowance to Mumbai employees
