Same boat exactly - 2000 target (1800 billables/200 pro bono) and I’m at just under 1000 billables and 300 pro bono...with very little billables for the rest of the year. Terrified I’m gonna he fired haha

Also do non-billable hours matter at all? I got pulled on a ton of research projects for “the firm” that I technically don’t count so I guess I assume those hours are a wash.
I followed up on this internally and can’t get a straight answer. We don’t have a billable req on paper so I suppose they don’t need to have a quota for pro bono/non-billable. I wish it was more transparent.
Just under 1300 at the end of August, with a 2000 requirement. If I bill minimum hours (167) for the next 4 months, I’ll end the year around 1950.
However, I started at this firm two months into the year. From that perspective, I’m on track.
A little over 2000 on pace for 2200ish, fiscal year runs from November-October. Litigation.
On pace for 2050-2100 depending how busy fall is. Litigation.
