Has anyone here done an investment banking internship between their first and second year of their MBA, and then ultimately decided to pursue a different path? Curious to hear what alternative routes people have taken, particularly those who stayed within the broader finance world but moved away from traditional IB roles.

Why is it that when ever I look at “entry level” jobs in IT they always want 2-4 years of experience. It’s entry level that means maybe some certifications if they didn’t major in the field or a degree in the field. Not 2-4 years already working in the field. Can someone please explain this to me?

I am asked to apply for visa for poland, I have a spouse and kid as dependents. On VFS website, visa slots are different for national visa and dependents..so will i have to book visa slot separately for my dependents or can i take my dependents on my visa date.

I find that I am much more ambitious regarding my career than my friends. I work a corporate job, have a consulting business, and I’m getting my masters degrees.

I love my friends, their focus is just in different aspects of their lives and that’s awesome but I often wish I had a few friends who I could talk about career development, goals, etc with.
