I need friends 🥺
I just got an offer from EY in London but considering based on what the maternity policy is which doesn’t seem to be spelt out in contract or benefits pdf. Does anyone know a) if there’s a minimum employment period to qualify and b) what the enhanced maternity pay is. I’ve read both 16 weeks and 18 weeks.

I have given interviews in JPMorgan Chase for developer role and got the offer which is gud but interviews were not as tough as one might have expected from a reputed firm like jpmc.
Had 1 tech,1 tech-Manager round , Hire view test which was quite easy and an hr round.
Am a little worried about the standard of project and the team. I have offer from CIB Payments team. Checked with hiring manager and he said d role is for developer. Just worried abt quality of work

I think you've gotta keep making her feel sexy and hope it turns around. They're going through a lot at this age and with young kids. It's helped a ton with me in same situation.

Unfortunately- this never ends well. Both partners need to be on the same page regarding physical intimacy - this resentment will manifest in a different way unbeknownst to you and your spouse. Seek therapy.
What is your average frequency?
OP: this is absolutely in part a communication issue. It’s great that you’re able to voice and explain what you’re feeling and why. But if both of you are not able to talk it through *and resolve the issues* in a healthy way — you have a communication problem.
If you have tried to communicate with her, have tried to make time for the two of you to be intimate alone, and have tried other avenues — and nothing has changed in almost 10 years of marriage — then it’s time to get professional help. Go to couples therapy (Emotionally-Focused Therapy to be exact).
I understand finding the right therapist can seem daunting. But if you both are not willing to do that — and you have exhausted other options — then the only other choice you have is to accept that this is just the type of marriage you have. That’s not healthy and I doubt it’s very sustainable. But it’s basically your only other viable option if you refuse couples therapy.
Or you can just hope things magically change as your kids get older. But considering she’s been like this since before kids and it’s gotten worse once you had kids… well, good luck with that.

Want to add my perspective from a woman's side. I had a 18 month old toddler. I may be similar to your wife situation. I am trying to adjust myself and relearn how to love my body. I used to feel I'm kinda hot. Now there's a scar on my body as a result of giving birth, also a lot of positions make me see my saggy skin - and I'm kinda frustrated with myself and no longer in the mood.
C1 I hope you understand that the other person that you’re in a relationship with needs you to share that with him. The two of you should be working TOGETHER towards a solution. Not just withdrawing. I hate when I see this. It’s a relationship killer.
I can share I feel the same way, except once a month would have driven me over the edge. As much as we need to man up and appreciate the mothers of our kids (I fully acknowledge how tough it can get), they also need to understand we signed up for an exclusive partnership. It’s not like we can get physical attention elsewhere. A lot of women also don’t get that husbands that love them don’t care if their skin is saggy or whatever from the birth. But it is absolutely critical for many men to remain intimate. You can say our brains are wired differently but there isn’t a way around it. On the day we give up caring, would also be the day that we stop wanting your love.
That’s not even remotely what I’m saying, but you are in denial to claim that on average women and men have same sexual desires. It simply makes no sense No matter how you slice it

Stop being so direct. Offer to give her a back massage instead. Speaking as a mom of 2 toddlers, resistance is significantly lowered after a good back massage.

Did this happen after marriage, after kids, or was always like this?
Sounds like your love language is physical touch and hers is not but that should have always been the case imo.

We spend a lot of money on childcare. We both work, I take care of mornings, she does pick up. She usually cooks, I almost always clean up. There’s a balance

McKinsey has entered the chat in…3…2…1
I’ve already rendered my advice.
Do more around the house and take care of dinner.
Lol I’m glad I’m not married to you. My spouse doing more at home + taking care of dinner some nights = I’m less tired, frazzled, and stressed, and more time/energy for quality time together
Be honest about your needs and go to marriage counseling together.
How long has this been going on for?

Talk to her , get sitters and do date nights .

You guys need a relationship coach/sex therapist. Even though it sounds like a her problem, it would be beneficial for the both of you to try out those options together

It’s certainly an us problem, rarely is anything one sided in a relationship.
Are you me bro ? As you can see a lot change with the dynamics of a relationship after many years of marriage and kids. Good luck my Man

Go on a retreat without the kids, private spa, massages, nice food - then sexy time.
Please please please ask your wife to go to therapy - you can learn how to communicate your needs to her. And I bet she has needs you aren’t meeting either that you aren’t aware of.
You sound like my (soon to be ex) husband making excuses for why he cheated on me…you don’t want to go down that path
