Has anyone (successfully or unsuccessfully) requested an extension on their offer to return? How did you approach the conversation and what were the circumstances? My departure letter says I’m expected to return within two years of starting my work experience or after finishing any approved educational program, and that I must notify McK of my intent to return by Jan 2026. It also says grad programs must start by Sept 2026 for loan eligibility. I want to start business school in Fall 2027.

Will an offer made in paper by one organization get revoked if a counter offer from other organisation is submitted to negotiate a better salary?
Also need an advice on should i submit the counter offer even if i prefer the first organisation only to improve the salary which is less as offered now?
