No, but I do notice when other do it and it’s pretty annoying. It’s a quick way to be written off as lazy IMO.

Agreed. Had this happen today after prefacing with “I have two questions” and only received a response to one. Very frustrating

Just answer. If you don’t know reply that you are working on it or will enquirer elsewhere.

The corporate golden rule

No, that borders on evil imo

funny

No. I don't ignore. I will answer those I can answer. Those I can't answer, I just say: "I will need to look into this further/investigate and get back to you asap". Ignoring is never a good idea as it can easily end up in an escalation depending on who you're dealing with. Plus, it's not professional.

Everyday... ignore the emails which are not important all together. Not enough time in the day to answer every single question.

I definitely wouldn’t want to work with you. No time to answer? Wake up earlier or stay till later, but do your job and answer the questions. Delay to answer? Sure, there’s only so much time. But do it. Treat others as you’d like to be treated.

Amen

Hi Folks,

Welcome to all of you. I created this bowl specifically for strategy consulting professionals in India.

Given the niche nature of strategy consulting, it would be pertinent to have a forum where we can discuss, vent out on topics that strategy consulting folks would more relate to.

Folks from Accenture Strategy, Bain, BCG, Deloitte S&O, EY strategy, Kearney, KPMG strategy, LEK, Monitor, PWC Strategy, Strategy& + any other core strategy consulting folks are welcome to join.

So I made this bowl awhile ago and I honestly haven’t been on the app in a minute and I’m so happy to see so many people utilizing this!!! I hope you all take time for yourselves and know that you do incredible work every day that is so under-appreciated. On a side note going along with under-appreciated and underpaid: does anyone have suggestions for a side hustle? I need to make more money and I work from home full-time so time commitment isn’t an issue. Thanks I’m advance!

Hello Folks,
Can you pls advise on which company to go for.
R-Systems : They are providing WFH + clarity on the project and team for which I’ll be working upon.
CTS : No clarity as of now, only thing I am aware is that I’m a part of full stack community.
HCL : Some clarity on the project but less package than other two.
R-Systems and CTS are giving same CTC.

I'm an engineer, and I feel like my manager is more of a friend than anything else. We talk about our personal lives, and I feel like it's hard to be completely honest with her when she's so casual with me. I don't want to lose our friendship, but I also need to be able to talk honestly with someone who has the power to help me grow professionally. Is there a way to have both?

I currently do securities ops/accounting but want to move into a more client facing role. One of our marketing/client service associates got a promotion, so I’m guessing she’ll be doing higher level work, which may leave a gap for some of the work she used to do. How would I go about asking if I can work on that team in some capacity but still do my current role? I’ve only been there 1 yr and I know my current manager also has some higher level items in securities ops he wants me to do as well.
