Has anyone worked for or even interviewed at Netflix and can help explain the crazy salary ranges they put in job descriptions? For example, $70k - $330k, or $360k - $920k. They are obviously huge ranges but the low end for some are the highest I’ve seen for comparable positions. Any insight will be helpful.

Hello, in my previous organisation I worked in development domain (Oracle IAM Tool and Java)and my post was software Engineer, i joined Wipro as project Engineer in April 2022 and was assigned non technical project as an analyst.

I fought my way hard to get released from the project. However my designation is changed as Analyst. Should I ask for change in designation as I know that analyst is non-technical profile? Would my designation impact my future role as well?

It’s a ~40 person company and I’ve received the the number of options, most recent valuation, and current strike price. I was also given a dollar range that I can “imagine” the share price would be (I think they were trying to help me do the math without it giving away too much)?

Say I work in tech and have a decent finance experience. Would my 3 yoe of domain "expertise" in tech make me an attractive bet for the banks Tech coverage team? In other words, does having experience in Tech make me more hireable for IBD?
