Thinking it’s only men complaining about DMA is part of the problem of DMA.
I’m a woman and DMA do not fact check, post lies and get high on publicly shaming people. Can’t wait til they’re ousted.

- calling out people who vote in their story surveys in a way that doesn’t agree with what they wanted to hear
- calling out these guys’ wives and families by name
- throwing out dudes’ names without any backup, reasoning, or even agency. So lots of people with generic names who work in any sort of creative industry being blamed for things they didn’t do.
- promoting irrelevant sister accounts
- going on and on about their logo and personal brand
- unscientific approaches to surveys and/or polls/rankings that unfairly paint agencies in a negative light (ie - match madness agency bracket)
- and basically just a flagrant disregard for process, evidence, and lives that are affected by their carelessness.
It would be terrible if it was a conversation. Right?
Don't have to. They're doing a great job of it themselves..

Another lady here. DMA suffers Trumpian delusions. DMA dismissing their critics as just “men who are part of the problem” reminds me of Trump trying to convince us his critics are just “liberal elites.” (Trump/DMA: I don’t care what your self-provided poll numbers say, we’re the majority. Please start listening.)

There’s definitely no women who are a little sceptical of DMA either.
I’m pretty convinced that anyone blindly defending them either hasn’t been following them for very long or is one of them. Seen lots of fishbowl comments on various DMA posts where people will defend them and then come back a week or two later and say “yeah.... jk... they suck”

Women are 100% behind the cause (ridding Adland of toxic gatekeepers who’ve been poisoning our experiences, and paralyzing our career growth.) Many of us are just disappointed by the execution.
