So I went from PI to ID and my old PI firm was incredibly toxic. But they were basically like this is outside of your comfort zone and you won’t be as good. 2 years later was made a partner, so I must have done something well.

Yes that’s right. My main issue is the mental pressure that I have to bill. Can’t fully turn off my brain knowing that I’m behind in my billing

like

Fine. Come back anytime if it doesn’t work out. Btw, I might be going back lol.

Do you mind to share why? What didn’t work out?

I see a lot of Jr. Level folks (myself included) in this bowl asking about certain finance exit opps like MM IB and PE etc.

At some point is the comp that much better?

From Big4 Transparency: S1/MCOL/2YOE/FDD making $97k. Managers MCOL close to $150k.

very Selective jobs( MF PE and BB IBs) kinda blow these numbers out of the water... but for the more attainable exits like MM IB and and corporate development... considering wlb and pay, is the grass much greener?

Thoughts?
