Hello 🐟🎏
When will be the retention bonus will be paid if a candidate joined TCS in the middle of the financial year. I.e September'22... Will that be paid on next year's September'23 Month only after completing an year in TCS?
And will the Retention bonus will also be considered as taxable income of the the current year taxes(2022-23)?
Looking for valuable suggestions!!!

It just reads strange to me. Maybe he was on one client that wanted evidence for one scenario he didn’t agree with... but you move on after 2 months to the next client.
Also peppered with humble brags throughout 🙄

Did he say that? Oh yeah, in the first two sentences and 15 other times.

Can someone give me a summary without all the condescension and pretension? I’m a few paragraphs in and this writing makes me ill.
“I decided to make myself ineligible for the standard severance/transition package by writing this story”
The title makes it seem like BCG was trying to pay him off, rather than offering one of the most employee-friendly benefits in existence

Consulting will move more and more into PMO and tech implementation work.
Which school did the writer of this go to? Was it MIT by chance? 🤔
The entire way this is written screams “I am an entitled 24-year-old who claims wisdom despite not seeing the full picture, and I am also absolutely impossible to manage.”
It has. Been a couple years. People just called the dude a scorned loser and moved on
Author seems inexperienced, and naive to the real world - an ideologue troubled by the irrationalities of people and society. Learn how to play the game, or go find a new one (preferably a non-profit). In the words of famous philosopher Tupac Shakur, “Once (you) get an understanding on the game, what the levels and the rules of the game (are), then the world (isn’t) a trick (anymore), (it) is a game to be played.”
Rising Star
I’m surprised so few have spoken up for the author. Sure, he’s idealistic about how the world works, but his background and do-the-right-thing attitude would make him a more suitable and ethical leader down the road, unlike Principals 1 and 2.
I was recruiting for consulting when this article came out, and ended up at BCG (though I’m not there anymore). This article is a shortsighted hit piece, and the author is a naïve twit. His attitude isn’t “do-the-right-thing”, it’s “I’m smarter than everyone else in the room”.
And you can take your veiled insinuations about my ethics and cram it. I’ve proven my integrity as a leader to the people for whom it matters (that’s my teams, by the way, and my Marines way back when). I care nothing at all for the completely uninformed judgment of internet strangers.
