Has your company started piloting AI tools to automate lower-level work? Mine recently rolled out something similar, and the message is that it’s meant to free up time for more meaningful, higher-level work. That sounds great in theory, but it’s hard not to feel uneasy about what usually comes next once the management gets comfortable relying on the tools. Curious how others are seeing this play out at their companies.

What tools are they piloting?

I haven't had any direct contact with those tools yet, and I'm pretty skeptical about them. Upper management seems thrilled with the idea of AI, for obvious reasons, and it will all come down to whether the tasks performed are "good enough." AI tools can't think or reason, but they can mimic what a thinking or reasoning person might say, and that might be adequate to pass for real work.

Our company uses Co Pilot. I have not touched it yet

In house or M&A/Real Estate Transactional are likely the end goal but want to get the litigation out of me first.

Just found out that end of the year I will be promoted from analyst directly to VP and since it’s such a large jump I’ll be the lowest paid VP in asset management at only $135k TC. Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.
