Has your company started piloting AI tools to automate lower-level work? Mine recently rolled out something similar, and the message is that it’s meant to free up time for more meaningful, higher-level work. That sounds great in theory, but it’s hard not to feel uneasy about what usually comes next once the management gets comfortable relying on the tools. Curious how others are seeing this play out at their companies.

I am so depressed working in banking. I have only been at it for a couple months, but I feel intellectually stifled, sleep deprived, I haven’t been able to workout at all, and like I’m losing friends.

I believe improving one’s sales conversion rate is something everyone want to improve but no one wants to admit they would like to work it. Funny how lawyers will spend thousands on seminars to improve trial skills. But this topic is not discussed in our profession. I have read books in sales. But am unable to find any for lawyers. Just found out that end of the year I will be promoted from analyst directly to VP and since it’s such a large jump I’ll be the lowest paid VP in asset management at only $135k TC. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.
