I have, but not in the same industry. Prior to working in hospitality, I worked in medical insurance. I once argued with an insurance rep for nearly 45 minutes over a claim that was incorrectly processed. I was demanding a 3-way call with my medical provider and everything lol. But hey, I accomplished what I set out to do.
Some times you gotta step out of character to get something done lol

Twice, I went to the dealership to look at a car. I knew more about the car (different makes) both times than the sales rep. One didn't know how to open the bonnet. The other admitted he couldn't drive a manual and tossed the keys to me.
Surprisingly, I bought both cars. But the first time, I already knew I wanted the car. The next time, I already owned an older version of that make and model, and it was the end of the month, and they were DESPERATE to sell. I kept on walking away. They kept lowering the price. Until I couldn't walk away anymore.
I feel like they only work at the dealerships for commissions unfortunately
I was once. After Hurricane Irma hit, my power was out for 3 weeks. Frustrating, but I know it takes a lot of time and effort to restore power, so I tried to be as patient as possible. That all changed when literally every other house on my street's power got restored except for mine. I called customer service to see what was going on and got repeatedly brushed off and told that my power had been restored, even as I was sitting in a lightless 95 degree house. I was not happy about being ignored and let them know it. It wasn't my proudest moment, but being condescended to when you're overheated and miserable is not easy to tolerate.
I have. Been to a bar while travelling and saw how slow it was and how me and my then boyfriend were being ignored. Pulled the whole "Oh good you guys ARE open!" when the bartender came to greet us. As a background, I've bartended/served/you name it in a kitchen for 20ish years. I did feel guilty and still left a big tip on two drinks because after that, I was like "this place ain't worth it."
